
Laura began exploring yoga in 2009 and soon embraced Bikram's 26 Asanas and 2 breathing exercises within a few years.
She found that consistent practice of the traditional Hatha 26/2 series bestowed physical relief from the chronic neck and upper back pain she had been unsuccessful in treating. It also became obvious to Laura how effortlessly hot yoga calmed a racing mind. "The hot room Asanas heal the body," she said, "while the breath mellows the mind." In 2016, Laura completed 300 hours of Bikram and Beyond instructor training with Terry Cunningham, Yoga for All Seasons. In 2022, Laura traveled to Chicago to learn the Buteyko Breathing Method from Patrick McKeown, Buteyko Clinic International. Thereafter she developed Jivha Bandha Breathwork.
