Absolutely! We understand that life can be unpredictable. Members can pause their membership for up to one month per year. Please contact our team at least two weeks in advance to arrange a membership pause.

What is your policy on class attendance and lateness?

To ensure a seamless experience for all participants, we kindly ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes before your class starts. Late entry is not permitted as it disrupts the class and compromises the experience for other yogis.

I don't have a yoga mat, do you offer mat hire?

Yes, we offer mats and towels for a small fee.

Poul Olson and Michael DeMayo are the founders of Helios Yoga.

Poul and Michael are the founders of Helios Yoga. They both had decades-long careers in public health. Poul developed a passion for hot yoga more than a decade ago. His vision for Helios Yoga was inspired by his experiences at different hot yoga studios across the country. He curated different elements of the studio experience and brought them all together in their Loudonville studio. Currently an advertising executive for a New York City-based company, Poul is deeply committed to fostering a strong sense of community at Helios Yoga and setting a new standard of excellence. Michael, with the support of their 12-year old rescue Hudson, will be the studio manager.
